Maha is the founder and owner of Almaha Reserve, a regenerative farm in Albahia, and is a Senior Researcher in the Economics Department at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Maha is also a partner at High Water Venture Partners, and has over 11 years in investment and research.

Founder
For the past decade, Katie has been deeply engaged with climate transformation innovation and practices in the GCC, with a focus on agritech and impact investment. As a co-founder of DANA Global and Elham: The Day After, she has designed and supported projects regenerative agriculture and water systems in various contexts including research, private sector, and public sector contracts. She has also spent several years as a researcher, educator, journalist and consultant examining the ways in which sustainable water management and regenerative agriculture intertwine with regional economic, and socio-cultural dynamics.

Miyawaki Afforestation
M. R. Hari, nature enthusiast, professionally trained in Law and Mass Communication. He leads Invis Multimedia, a pioneer institution that brought ‘digital media revolution’ to the state of Kerala, India, as early as in 1995. The organization has been working as the ICT solution provider of Kerala Tourism since 1998 till this date.
M. R. Hari, who firmly believes in social responsibility and environmental responsibility of individuals has been actively involved in eco-restoration since 2007 and eco-restoration through Miyawaki model afforestation since 2017. He has supervised the creation of more than 100 Miyawaki forests in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and UAE. He also develops and presents all the content for promoting Miyawaki model afforestation and propagates them through the YouTube channel www.crowdforesting.org. So far more than 200 videos have been made on this topic for this channel which has several thousand subscribers and millions of viewers.
This unique initiative of M R Hari is currently short listed under the Travel for Life contest by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
M R Hari is currently the Director of AGES. He is appointed as a Land Ecorestoration Consultant by United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
AGES ( Agriculture and Ecosystem Management Group) has been working in conservation and restoration areas for nearly 20 years.

Dr. Sreelaja Sasikumar graduated (BAMS) from Trivandrum Ayurveda College, started her vocation as Lecturer at The Coimbatore Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) p LTD in the 1994. Later she became a Physician at their Trivandrum Branch. From 2001 to 2006 she worked as Consultant & Physician at Oman Ayurvedics (an initiative of Khimji group) in Muscat, Oman. After that she associated as Consultant at Travencore Heritage (Ayurveda Resort) at Chowara, Trivandrum.
She started her own hospital, Ayurhermitage, at Kovalam in the year 2010.
An experienced Ayurveda expounder who has more than 32 years of experience, especially in Sthree roga (gynecology), and Panchakarma treatments.

With over six years of experience in strategic finance, venture building, and development advisory, she has supported a range of high-impact ventures across the MENA region and Africa — including Ernst & Young, Pure Harvest Smart Farms, and FSD Africa — leading initiatives in financial advisory, due diligence, capital raising, and ecosystem building.
Focused on addressing systemic challenges across economic and ecological spheres, Aya works to reshape dominant narratives and advance transformative alternatives. She supports Indigenous and Global South voices in multilateral spaces such as the UN climate negotiations. (COP28, SB60, COP29, and COP30). She currently serves as the Coordinator of the Global South Circle within the International Degrowth Network (IDN), where she contributes to strategy, coalition building, and dialogue toward a just, post-growth future.

Ethnobotany Specialist
Medina Tenour Whiteman is a British-American Muslim writer, researcher, poet and singer based near Granada in Spain. As one half of ISTHMUS, she co-created a multidisciplinary art show featuring poems she wrote inspired by her research into the land stewards of Al-Andalus. She has spent over fifteen years living close to and studying the Andalusian landscape, its medicinal herbs and sustainable food systems, and is currently writing a book about the sacred ecology of Al-Andalus. She is the author of the poetry collection Love is a Traveller and We Are Its Path (Ecstatic Exchange, 2016), Huma’s Travel Guide to Islamic Spain (2017), and The Invisible Muslim: Journeys Through Whiteness and Islam (Hurst, 2020). Her work has appeared on BBC Radio, Critical Muslim, Sacred Footsteps, Amaliah, Rowayat, and other international platforms, as well as being anthologised in A Kaleidoscope of Stories (Lote Tree Press, 2020), The Ordinary Chaos of Being Human (Leave it Better Press, 2024), and Meandering: Art, Ecology and Metaphysics (Sternberg Press, 2024).
